SCM is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization that works to build a society that guarantees freedom of expression and belief, as well as human rights and justice. Its vision is a democratic world founded on justice, freedom, equality, and respect for human rights and human dignity.
Established in 2004, SCM has been defending individuals oppressed because of their beliefs or opinions, while also promoting human rights and supporting the development of independent, critical, and professional media. Since 2011, SCM has held special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

To bring their vision to life, the logo and entire visual identity were completely reworked, preserving only subtle traces of the original design. This project extended far beyond the logo itself, developing strong concepts and exploring multiple options was essential to building an identity that is memorable and distinctive, while remaining human, simple, and approachable.
