After spending over 200 hours immersed in Death Stranding and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, I’ve grown to deeply appreciate the creativity behind both games. This appreciation inspired a fan art illustration based on Katsushika Hokusai’s Poet Traveling in the Snow, a work that beautifully blends the human spirit with nature through a traditional Japanese art style. Studying and incorporating Hokusai’s approach felt like a perfect choice, as it strongly reinforces the concept and atmosphere of the piece.
